To clean and restore the Organ for the 2nd time in the 109 years it has been in situ, replacing the worn out action system with a new Solid State Action system, thus ensuring the reliability of the Organ for the next 50 –75 years.

During the course of this project we are aiming to make the Organ more flexible to accommodate the 21st century liturgy requirements of the Anglican Church, making the Organ Console moveable will allow the instrument to be used more for Concerts and Recitals.

It is also hoped to add the 3rd Manual to the Organ which was proposed in the 1967 rebuild, which will make the instrument more flexible in accompanying Small Services and Chancel Services, this will provide a useful addition to the Organs capabilities
